Home Inspector Honored by the American Society of Home Inspectors for Long-Time Service

Johnny Kay of Arrow Home Inspection Service, LLC, a local firm based in Fort Mill, SC, which conducts inspections of new and existing homes, was honored recently by the American Society of Home Inspectors® for five years of membership. Johnny Kay has been an ASHI Certified Inspector since 2004.

The American Society of Home Inspectors®, founded in 1976, is the oldest, largest and most respected international professional organization of independent home inspectors in North America. Its Standards of Practice and strict Code of Ethics are benchmarks of professional performance in the field.

To become an ASHI Certified Inspector, an inspector must meet rigorous professional and technical requirements, including the successful completion of two comprehensive exams. In addition, the inspector must perform at least 250 fee-paid home inspections that meet or exceed the ASHI Standards of Practice.

In addition to his membership, Johnny Kay also serves ASHI as a member of the ASHI National Legislative Committee and currently serves as Vice-President of ASHI Carolina, a local chapter serving the ASHI membership in both North and South Carolina.

Johnny Kay has been an inspector for 14 years, and is licensed to conduct home inspections in both South and North Carolina.
