January 18, 2008 - Johnny Kay, licensed North and South Carolina Home Inspector and owner of Arrow Home Inspection
Service, LLC, Fort Mill, SC, has been awarded the prestigious certification status of Building Plans Examiner from the International
Code Council (ICC).
The International Code Council, a membership association dedicated to building safety and fire prevention, develops
the codes used to construct residential and commercial building, including homes and schools. Most U.S. cities, counties,

Codes certification allows me to greatly enhance the level of service to my clients as the ICC codes are the adopted building
codes in our state". Kay also states, "ICC credentials have allowed me to the raise the bar in the home inspection business
with unprecedented thoroughness and detail in the inspection report".
Kay is the only licensed Home Inspector in the area who is ICC Commercial and Residential Building Codes certified.
In addition to the ICC certifications, he is a licensed Home Inspector since 1996, Certified Indoor Environmentalist (CIE
